Directions for use

Dry application

One 4.7 kg pail of this product covers 16 ha (40 acres) of seeds.

Mix the product evenly with seeds when filling seeder using grain auger or directly in the hopper or other container. 

Recommendations

  • For optimum results, it is recommended to seed within the 8 hours following coating with this product.
  • This product may “bulk up” seeds. It is recommended to calibrate the seeder to ensure correct seeding rate is attained.
  • Do not mix this product and fungicide seed treatments in the same tank. Apply to seed sequentially or once treatment is dry.
    Do not mix this product with granular fertilizers.

Damp application

One 4.7 kg pail of this product covers 16 ha (40 acres) of seeds.

Pre-moisten seeds with 300 ml of water/100 kg (3 fl. oz/bu) of seeds. Mix the damp seeds thoroughly with the inoculant to ensure even coating. 

Recommendations

  • For optimum results, it is recommended to seed within the 8 hours following coating with this product.
  • This product may “bulk up” seeds. It is recommended to calibrate the seeder to ensure correct seeding rate is attained.
  • Do not mix this product and fungicide seed treatments in the same tank. Apply to seed sequentially or once treatment is dry.
    Do not mix this product with granular fertilizers.

Slurry application

One 4.7 kg pail of this product covers 16 ha (40 acres) of seeds.

Pour one pail of 4.7 kg of this product in a clean container. Add gradually 8 - 10 litres (2 - 2.6 US gallons) of clean, non-chlorinated water and stir well. Add more water if the slurry is too thick. Pour onto the seeds and mix thoroughly to ensure even coating.

Storage and handling

  • Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
  • Do not freeze or expose to temperatures above 25°C (77°F).
  • Avoid severe temperature variation.
  • Open package only when ready to use.
  • Respect the best before date on the label.
  • Product may cause irritation in people with allergies to microorganisms, or immunocompromised individuals.
  • Handle in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid generating dust during manipulation or wear an approved respirator and goggles.
  • The wearing of gloves is recommended.
  • Avoid inhalation and direct contact with the eyes and open wounds.
  • If inhaled, provide fresh air.
  • If skin contact, wash with soap and water.
  • If eye contact, rinse the eyes immediately and thoroughly with water.
